If I have a projector with composite and component but not a coax input, can I use a digital converter box by?

If I have a projector with composite and component but not a coax input, can I use a digital converter box by itself to get cable television to play? Is an antenna going to be necessary? Or, is there a better way besides paying monthly for another cable box to get cable on the projector?

You can use a component selector switch like this one:

The other choice would be to run hdmi to your tv from the back of the cable box and run the component cables from the back of the cable box to the projector. This will only work if your tv has an hdmi input

One m,ore thing you can do …. if you want both the projector and tv on at the same time, you can use a component splitter

It’s not an ideal solution since you do lose signal when you split it but it’s the cheapest way to go if the tv doesn’t have hdmi AND you want to have both on at the same time.
