I was Working on A Radio/alarm clock when i went to test to see if it was working my outlets stopped workin?
I was Working on An Alarm clock because it stopped displaying the time. i plugged it into a wall outlet in my bed room and all the sudden i heard a loud POP, the clocks time display had been working then it popped and it all shut down. now 2 of 3 of my outlets Are not working. i already flipped the breakers and nothing. is there anything i might be able to do to fix this?
Sounds like you supplied a dead short to the circuit and maybe blew the breaker. Make sure you are flipping the correct breaker first, then check the breaker with a meter to see if it is still working. If you do not have a meter or do not know how to use one to check the breaker, call an electrician or at least someone that does know what they are doing. People
